This came out forever ago in Europe. You dudes dug "The Supreme Genius of..." real hard, so be prepared to see where many of those tracks came from. King Khan is a funk superhero with possibly no sense of decency. Didn't I say someone I added last week had no sense of decency?

This band's first album was super super good. Hit after electro-pop hit. Here they continue to dig a hole in your heart with synths and slinky vocals.
Micachu - Jewellery [Rough Trade]
Ok, Micachu is a girl from England who has put together this weird as F collection of broken and generally destroyed pop-grime-twee songs. Her name is Mica. On Wikipedia is says she plays Vocals Guitar Electronics and Vacuum Cleaner.
PJ Harvey & John Parish - A Woman A Man Walked By [Island]
PJ Harvey could probably beat me up, not that that's saying a lot.
Comet Gain - Broken Record Prayers [What's Your Rupture?]
Indie-pop from London. You know the sort--lo-fi but not too lo-fi, not buried in reverb like similar-hearted folks like Crystal Stilts; really well-recorded, catchy tunes.
Eagle And Talon - Thracian [Self-Released]
LA-based duo of two gals with a lot of sonic ideas bouncing around, twinkling in lo-fi, noisy popness.
Harlem Shakes - Technicolor Health [Gigantic]
Really taut and well-put-together indie-rock. These dudes have been putting out the best in tunes of this sort for some time, so if you're into that vibe, check it.
The Rippers - Why Should I Care About You? [Slovenly]
Garage-rock through and through and through. Greaaat stuff.
Yonlu - A Society In Which No Tear Is Shed Is Inconceivably Mediocre [Luaka Bop]
I'm not sure what genre this is. It kind of goes everywhere. I am running out of blurb-steam. Some of it is not in English, a lot of it has good electronics + acoustic instrumentation. Like, IDM-world-pop. I don't know.
It Hugs Back - Inside Your Guitar [4AD]
The best of the high-treble dream-pop vibe. Plus, look at that band name!
The Veils - Sun Gangs [Rough Trade]
That epic kind of indie-rock. With big guitars and choruses, but like not stadium-big. Big hearted. Or something?
