Light Years – I’ll See You When I See You – (Rude Records)
Light Years are Pop Punk band from Cleveland, OH. Their highly anticipated new album I’ll See You When I See You, which marks the band’s first full length release on Rude Records (and their second overall), is a really awesome record that can be characterized by upbeat and catchy guitar riffs, soft and soothing vocal melodies, and emotionally charged lyrics. Compared to some of the other more well-known Pop Punk bands today, Light Years are very unique in the fact that their sound pays homage to some of the older Punk/Pop Punk bands from the mid-to-late ‘90s and early 2000’s including: Blink-182, No Use For A Name, Lagwagon, and Green Day. Tracks to definitely check out on this album include: “Are You Sure,” “Rearview,” “Living Hell,” “Let You Down,” and “I Can't Relate.”

Gnarwolves – Adolescence - EP – (Pure Noise Records)
Gnarwolves are a Punk Rock band from the UK. Their new EP Adolescence, which was just released courtesy of Pure Noise Records, is a very catchy and upbeat record that features a unique sound that can be characterized by twangy and distorted guitars, angst filled vocals, and catchy melodies. While Gnarwolves are typically labeled as a Pop Punk band, their sound can actually be traced back to that of many other well-known ‘90s punk rock bands including: Ten Foot Pole, Good Riddance, 88 Fingers Louie, and Propagandhi (late 2000’s sound). Tracks to definitely check out on this album include: “The Waiting Line,” “Daydreamer,” and “Bad Dreams.”

Handguns – Disenchanted - (Pure Noise Records)
Handguns are a Pop Punk band from Harrisburg, PA. Their new album Disenchanted, which marks the band’s 3rd full length release on Pure Noise Records, is a really awesome record that can be characterized by catchy guitar hooks, upbeat drumming, angst filled vocals, and emotionally charged lyrics. With that being said, the sounds heard on this record can be compared to those heard by many other well-known Pop Punk bands on the scene today including: The Story So Far, Seaway, and Forever Came Calling. Tracks to definitely check out on this album include: “Self Portrait,” “The Worst In Me,” “My Lowest Point,” “Disenchanted,” and “Recovery.”
