Klaus Johann Grobe - Im Sinne Der Zeit - (Trouble In Mind)
This is probably my favorite of the bunch. Super chill, super rad, super.. super. It's like chilling in a German basement club in the late 60s/early 70s. I'm gonna put this on my iPod and go skate around now.

Young & Sick - s/t - (Harvest)
Just saw these guys at Coachella and holy hell, what a great set. This is their long-awaited and much-hyped full-length album, combining elements of electronic, indie R&B, and pop noir. Chheeeecccckkkk iiiittttt oouuuuttttt.

Death - III - (Drag City)
A collection of songs spanning from 1975-1992 by the Detroit proto-punkers. Includes "North Street", "Restlessness", "Open Road" and so such more. These tunes are just.. yeah. There must have been something in the air back then. Really not to be missed.

Chad VanGaalen - Shrink Dust - (Sub Pop)
Partly a soundtrack to an animated Sci-Fi film and partly just awesome music, Shrink Dust by Canadian indie singer songwriter Chad VanGaalen is at times gnarly, always DIY, and overall just a serious collection of ridiculously good musical decisions. Oh, and the album art gave me bad dreams.

Mr. Little Jeans - Pocketknife - (Harvest)
Norwegian dance-pop singer/songwriter Monica Birkenes kills it with her debut album. If you're a fan of RAC you'll quickly recognize the first track "Rescue Song" as the basis for their most excellent remix. I am glad to report that the original is as good as the edit.
